Kojou Akatsuki is a student at Saikai Academy on Itogami, a man-made Pacific island. One day, an encounter with demons arouses his vampiric powers.

Yukina moves in next door to Kojou. Demons are being attacked everywhere. A vampire and its Familiar are cornered by the deacon Eustach and Astarte.

The battle with the deacon lays waste to the town. The next morning, Kojou and Yukina pursue Eustach to a laboratory and find out what he’s after.

Eustach attacks the island’s central support. Kojou goes to save the trapped Asagi, but something holds him back. Yukina does something surprising.

As everyone eagerly awaits the school’s sports tournament, Natsuki is trying to capture therianthropes. Kojou, the 4th Progenitor, is being targeted.

Kojou and Yukina are greeted by Vatler, who shows love for the 4th Progenitor, and Sayaka, Yukina’s colleague in Lion King. Asagi’s behavior changes.

Yukina stops a fight between Sayaka and Kojou, who reflect on their actions and begin to open up. A man named Gardos abducts Yukina, Asagi and Nagisa.

Gardos reactivates the ancient weapon Nalakuvera. Kojou and Sayaka fall into the depths of the island. She entrusts herself to Kojou’s vampiric power.

Kojou, his life back to normal, meets Nagisa’s friend Kanon Kanase. A mysterious flying object crashes in the sky above the Demon District.

Kojou and Yukina identify Kanon as a member of the group wreaking havoc across the island. They head to a research facility on a deserted island.

At the facility, where Kanon’s father does his research, Kojou and Yukina are saved by Princess La Folia. Kanon learns of her father’s work on her.

Kanon takes Kojou out of the fight. Yukina and La Folia give him blood to help him recover and awaken new power. Kanon’s humanity is slipping away.

Kojou sees his old friend Yuuma at the Halloween Fest. Yukina and Asagi are unhappy about it. At the Keystone Gate, the Meyer Sisters suddenly appear.

Kojou, in Yuuma’s body, gets closer to the truth behind the spatial abnormality. Yuuma faces Vatler in Kojou’s body.

Yuuma uses the 4th Progenitor’s magic power to try to free her mother from prison. As Kojou and Yukina close in, the long-absent Natsuki reappears.

Kojou gets his body back, but the prison barrier appears in full, and Yuuma’s mother Aya emerges. Kojou and crew escape and are met by Kojou’s mother.

Kojou and crew search for Natsuki, who has lost her spiritual power and gone missing. Asagi is seen on TV with a girl who looks just like Natsuki.

To keep Sana safe, Kojou and Asagi board Vatler’s boat. As Sana, who should be sleeping, listens to their intense exchange, she changes!

Through Sana, Yukina sees a memory of an old fight between Natsuki and Aya. Schneewalzer in hand, she sets out to break the control of Aya’s dark vow.

As Yukina prepares for a school training camp, Kou Amatsuka, calling himself a “truth seeker,” appears before Kojou and wreaks havoc on the town.

Amatsuka’s attack injures the uninvolved Asagi. They stop at Kojou’s house on the way to get her treated, but she is possessed by another personality.

Amatsuka, seeking to revive Wiseman, attacks Yukina’s ferry. Kanon faces Amatsuka alone and opens up about what happened at the monastery 5 years ago.

As Yukina frets over her future due to Kojou’s words in a dream, a mysterious girl appears. Kojou and crew are perplexed by Yukina’s odd behavior.

As Yukina has lost her Schneewalzer and is ordered back to Lion King, a magical beast begins to lay waste to the island. Kojou goes to face it alone.

Kojo comforts a maid following an unexpected attack involving giant, flying bugs. Soon afterward, Yukina and La Folia notice a change in his behavior.

With Kojo under their control, the terrorists demand the release of political prisoners from Aldegyr in exchange for some important captives.

Sayaka rescues a girl from a secret facility at the marine resort Blue Elysium. Yukina and Nagisa encounter a mysterious schoolgirl dressed in black.

Kojo learns of Yume’s true identity after Yukina and Asagi are manipulated into making advances at him. The group soon receives an unexpected visit.

Kusuki’s nefarious plans are met with betrayal. Meanwhile, Sayaka holds off Kiriha, allowing Kojo and Yukina to pursue an aggressive Leviathan.

Nagisa goes to the mainland with her father. Later, Kojo is concerned when he receives a cryptic message from her consisting of a single photo.

Kanon and Nina help Kojo escape his magical binds, but his freedom is short-lived when Natsuki pursues and intercepts him en route to the mainland.

Gajo is imprisoned by his mother upon arriving at his family shrine. Nagisa encounters a playful girl with an ulterior motive at a hot spring.

Asagi and Lydianne are rescued from a swarm of flying demons by a mysterious boy in a white tunic. A dark knight on a wyvern seeks to abduct Nagisa.

Kojo refuses to surrender Glenda to the Self-Defense Force cultists. A fight ensues and Yuiri is injured, sparking a beastly transformation by Glenda.
