It's Dragon Day and Digby has problems to beat his own flying record from last year. Finally he succeeds with the help of his friends.

Digby plans a surprise for Fizzy and Chips on Peek Rock Island, but Grizel steels the boat Digby wanted to use for the passage.

Chips hides a Sea Nut which in fact is a hermit crab in a snail shell that runs away. Chips suspects that his friends might have stolen it.

Grumpy's little brother is visiting and Fizzy bakes a cake which is much too small. After a spell, she thinks she has transformed Grumpy into a giant.

Digby wants to follow the lead of Red Rufus and plays “Hero and Princess” with Grumpy. Grizel steels jam, and Scottie becomes a runaway train.

Fizzy and Chips want to water Fizzy's apple tree. Fizzy conjures a rain cloud which they all end up trapped on. Grumpy to the rescue!

Grumpy has snails in his garden and Grizel wants some, too. They fight and the snail basket ends up in the river. Grumpy has to save the snails.

Fizzy wants a milk shake but first has to learn the first lesson from her spell book. The spells don't always work out the way they are supposed to.

Digby wants to be a dragon just like Red Rufus. When he rescues Fizzy, Grumpy and Chips from danger, he discovers his dragon qualities.

Fizzy organizes a nut hunt. When Grizel uses a nut map to find all the nuts, Chips is devastated since he can smell the nuts but can't find any.

Digby is waiting for a package, and Fizzy offers to deliver it. Everything goes wrong, but finally the package reappears and Digby gives it to Fizzy.

Digby wants to see the Northern Lights but the weather is bad, so Albert lays on a fireworks show instead. Finally, they all see the Northern Lights.

Digby has a favorite kite that Chips wants to fly. The kite ends up in the swamp where a terrible mud monster is rumored to live.

Digby wants to be a red dragon and Fizzy has a magic box that can make things change color. Grizel steels the box and makes the whole world gray.

Digby is busy taking care of Fizzy when a pair of wings escape him. Grizel finally can fly! But at a whistle, the wings return to their owner.

Grizel builds a trap in the woods and ends up in it herself. She is rescued with a rope, but everybody now knows that she fell into her own trap.

It's time for the Great Race in Applecross! Digby finally wins the race and Grizel loses. But taking part is everything!

The four friends play splash-down. Grizel uses magic to disguise herself as Digby, but nobody wants to play with her because of her character.

Digby reads the adventures of Red Rufus challenging Black McKracken. Neither Grumpy nor Scottie are home. Did the monster kidnap them?

When Grumpy takes a mysterious box up on a high hill, Grizel wants to know what's inside. She ends up in the thorns so often that she has to give up.

Fizzy tries out a disappearing spell which even works, but Grizel takes Spellbook that is the only one who knows how to bring back Sprite.

Digby builds a souped-up bike for Archie to deliver his packages. Unfortunately, it has no brakes and all the packages get lost during a wild ride.

All collect wood for winter and Christmas. Albert's old barometer predicts a snowstorm which threatens to snow in Grizel and Mungo.

Applecross prepares for Christmas. When the Christmas tree topples over, the sled with presents slides away and Grizel has to safe them.

When Fizzy helps Digby cleaning, she conjures a brush that turns into a dog-like creature and has to be trained, but Fizzy has fallen in love.

Digby invents a new game where you have to hit a pine cone with a stick into a hole. Fizzy, Grumpy and Grizel are bombarded with pine cones.

Digby opens a new shop. Grumpy and Chips help bring the merchandise, but in all the buzz, the friends forget to charge for their sales.

Fizzy wants to make Chips a gift of nuts and asks Digby and Grumpy for help. For the surprise to work, she has to intercept and delay Chips.

Mungo hits his head on the branches and can't fly anymore. When Digby falls down a cliff, Mungo knows how to fly again and rescues him.

Digby wants to know whether he has grown over the last year. Fizzy makes him so big that he gets stuck in her house. Oh no, he has to sneeze!

Fizzy is missing one ingredient for a potion. When Digby and the mushrooms get splashed with the potion, the friends have to find an antidote.

Things are disappearing in Applecross. Digby accuses his friends but it's really Muddles who wants to build a playground for the mushrooms.

Grizel ejects Mungo from her club and wants to win Chips over. Mungo wants to join Grumpy's and Digby's Train Club but it is not really much fun.

Digby notices that Grumpy has disappeared. When they finally find him, they realize that he has built a flying machine in his sleep.

Fizzy and Spellbook have a row and Spellbook flies off. Chips and Spellbook try out different spells which end in chaos, of course.

Fizzy finds Digby's navigation device unnecessary, so they have a race. Digby helps Grizel find home. When he arrives at the finish, Fizzy is there.

Chips encourages Digby to try out some tricks with a magic set. With Fizzy's help, the failed tricks turn into magic that everybody loves.

Grizel and Mungo are cold and want to stay at Fizzy's. Grizel haunts Fizzy's home so she leaves for Digby's, when something really becomes haunted.

Mungo has to clean up and throws Grizel's old stuff into Chips' tree house. Digby and Chips want to build a roller coaster out of the old things.

Digby thinks Applecross needs a superhero. Since that's work for two, he gets Chips involved. They realize that a team has to stick together.

Applecross suffers under a drought. Digby and Chips discover a line leading directly to Grizel who is building a swimming pool!

What is a fairy without a wand supposed to do in camp? Grumpy's family has an old wand, hidden in the goblin caves in Applecross Valley.
