Sun-woo asks Young-hoon if he remembers the time Sun-woo lost his pager in high school. Soon, Sun-woo realizes the truth behind his hallucinations.

In Jeong-woo's coat pocket, Sun-woo finds a letter addressed to someone named Kim Yoo-jin. Young-hoon demands Sun-woo start treatment.

After passing out, Sun-woo wakes up in his bedroom and is relieved to find Min-young taking care of him. But he becomes stunned by her next words.

As Sun-woo is having dinner with Min-young at home, someone unexpected rings the doorbell. Later, Min-young begs him to talk about his ex-girlfriend.

While carrying out his rescue plan, Sun-woo runs into unforeseen problems. Young-hoon anxiously awaits with a 1992 newspaper article in front of him.

After covering for Sun-woo, Min-young hears from her mom about what happened to him. Later, she ponders over what Sun-woo meant by "Joo Min-young."

Investigations begin regarding Choi Jin-cheol and his research. Despite Min-young's persistent questions, Young-hoon hides the truth about Sun-woo.

In 1993, Sun-woo returns home to find many changes in his family. In 2013, Sun-woo is saddened by Min-young's congratulatory text message.

Kang Seo-jun comes to Sun-woo's house looking for Min-young. The next day, Young-hoon calls Sun-woo to ask what happened the night before.

Min-young recalls the karaoke incident when she first met Sun-woo. Later, Sun-woo discovers a new message that his younger self wrote to himself.

Introducing himself as someone who knows about the fire accident, Sun-woo invites Jeong-woo for a private chat, but Jeong-woo tries to stall him.

Confused by how things turned out, Sun-woo calls Jeong-woo, who explains what happened when he visited the police station in 1993.

Sun-woo finds out Jeong-woo couldn't join his family for vacation because of work. But Young-hoon tells Sun-woo that Jeong-woo never came to work.

Deeming the incense to be too dangerous, Young-hoon urges Sun-woo to destroy it. Meanwhile, Choi Jin-cheol gets a copy of Sun-woo's text messages.

While trying to figure out what went on in 1993, Sun-woo realizes he's being followed. He gets a call from his boss and decides to ask for help.

Min-young is surprised to see her stepdad greeting guests with her mom. Young-hoon and Choi Jin-cheol also find themselves in unfamiliar places.

Everyone panics when Sun-woo doesn't show up at the ceremony. Young-hoon locates Sun-woo's car, but instead of Sun-woo, an old man is sitting nearby.

Sun-woo leaves a final message for his self of 20 years ago. Likewise, young Sun-woo responds in his journal with a message to himself 20 years later.
