Sinopsis

La trama gira en torno a Kaede Honjō, quien es invitada por su amiga llamada Risa Shiramine para jugar un juego MMO de realidad virtual con ella. Si bien a Kaede no le gustan los juegos, lo que realmente le disgusta es tener dolor. Por esa razón ella crea un personaje llamado Maple, y decide poner todos sus puntos en VIT al máximo para minimizar el dolor. Como resultado, se mueve lentamente, no puede usar magia, e incluso un conejo puede obtener lo mejor de ella. Pero resulta que adquiere una habilidad conocida como «Defensa absoluta» como resultado de sus puntos de bombeo en VIT, así como una «Habilidad de contraataque» que funciona contra movimientos especiales. Ahora, con su habilidad para anular todo daño, se embarca en nuevas aventuras.
