Synopsis

Kazuma Satō est un hikikomori qui ne vit que pour les mangas, les animes et les jeux vidéo. Il trouve la mort dans un accident de la circulation. Toutefois, son heure n'est pas encore arrivée puisqu'il se réveille face à une belle déesse qui lui propose de rejoindre un autre monde tout en apportant avec lui quelque chose ou quelqu'un qui lui tient à coeur. Ne sachant quoi répondre, notre héros choisit d'apporter avec lui cette déesse. Une fois sur place, il se retrouve chargé d'une mission qui consiste à vaincre le roi des démons. Ne se sentant pas concerné par cette demande, Kazuma décide de vivre une vie paisible en trouvant un travail pour se loger, se nourrir et vivre confortablement. Toutefois, cela ne durera pas longtemps car la déesse est là pour lui rappeler son rôle et l'armée du roi des démons compte passer à l'action...
