One day after school, the serious Ito and the child-like Nishi meet by chance, as each endeavors to remain walking on the sidewalk's white line. Ito Akira, a 17 year old and serious student, meets the innocent Nishi Yuuki on the way home while playing the "white line game." Burgeoning feelings result in Ito feeling confused and avoiding Yuuki.
19 years old now, Akira and Yuuki continue to have a good relationship with each other but haven't gone beyond their kiss. One day, when Akira tries to further their relationship, Yuuki rejects it.
