Zusammenfassung

Der heilige Gral, ein Objekt von unglaublicher Macht, das einem Menschen seinen sehnlichsten Traum erfüllen kann. Um ihn zu erlangen, steht einem jedoch ein schwieriger und gefährlicher Weg bevor. Sieben Menschen sind dazu geboren, die Herren der sogenannten "Servants" zu werden, mächtige legendäre Krieger, die sich in einem Kampf auf Leben und Tod um den Gral beweisen müssen. Unter ihnen ist auch der Schüler Shirou Emiya, der eines Nachts unheilvoll von einem der Servants attackiert wird und rein zufällig die Kriegerin Saber beschwört. Die Feinde sind jedoch zu mächtig, sodass Emiya einen Bund mit seiner Mitschülerin und Magierin Rin Tohsaka, sowie ihrem Servant Archer eingeht.
