Synopsis
Nous sommes dans un futur proche. Après avoir raté ses examens, Tsukasa Mizugaki, 18 ans, trouve un poste dans la prestigieuse SAI Corporation, grâce aux relations de son père. Cette société est spécialisée dans la production de Giftia, des androïdes très perfectionnés ayant des réactions proches des émotions humaines. Le travail de Tsukasa n'est cependant pas très gratifiant, puisqu'il consiste à récupérer les modèles arrivant en fin de vie.
