Kuno falls head over heels for the pig-tailed girl. Clueless, he asks Ranma to pass on a present to her.

After covering Ranma with bruises from head to toe, Akane takes him to Dr. Tofu’s clinic. As they leave, Dr. Tofu asks Ranma to get along with Akane.

Akane’s eldest sister Kasumi visits Dr. Tofu as he’s treating Ranma. Though usually a good doctor, he behaves strangely when he sees Kasumi.

A mysterious boy shows up at Furinkan High in search of Ranma and attacks him, but Ranma can’t figure out who he is.

Ryoga, swearing revenge on Ranma, sends him a formal letter of challenge. Though Ranma has no idea why Ryoga hates him they fight at Furinkan High.

Akane gets caught up in Ranma and Ryoga’s fight and her hair is cut. She leaves in shock and a worried Ranma leaves the fight to go after her.

A man visits the Tendo Dojo with his daughter Kaori to claim Ranma as his son-in-law. As the man argues with Soun, Kaori challenges Akane to a duel.

Ranma gets a package from China containing a cat. For some reason, it is only hostile towards Akane. Ranma, meanwhile, is inordinately afraid of it.

Shampoo blames Ranma for her unfortunate spill into a cursed spring. She enlists her great-grandmother's help in pressuring him into marriage.

Cologne’s curse traps Ranma in his female form. She offers to give up the antidote if Ranma masters the Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire technique.

A man named Mousse comes calling from China. Though madly in love with Shampoo, she rejects him. He then challenges Ranma to a duel for Akane’s hand.

At a ski resort, Cologne organizes a martial arts "carry the snowman" race, and Shampoo -- who has the Phoenix Pill -- is the prize.

Desperate to defeat Ranma, Ryoga asks Cologne to give him special training in the mountains. Ranma, Akane and Genma also go to the mountains to train.

Ryoga and Ranma both train diligently to master new techniques for their duel. Cologne declares that the winner gets to date Akane.

A dojo destroyer challenges the Tendo Dojo, but Ranma goes on a date with Shampoo when she promises to cure his curse, leaving Akane to fight alone.
