Julia Ducournau (born November 18, 1983) is a French film director and screenwriter. She attended La Fémis and studied screenwriting. In 2011, her short film Junior won the Petit Rail d'Or at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. Her second feature film, Titane, earned the Palme d’Or at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival.
