While Alex gets in serious trouble over drugs, Viktor calls in The Sniffer when a couple of sniper assassinations with no obvious connection leave the police basically clueless.
Episode 3
Police, finding Alex with a gun in his hand, a corpse at his feet, and a bag of pot, arrest the boy for murder, and the by-the-books detective in charge won't let the Sniffer or Viktor near him.
Episode 4
The Sniffer creates an international stink when he smells a forgery in a recently delivered masterpiece to the Ukraine national museum from the Germans. Nostrils flare, and factions threaten the Sniffer's reputation.
Episode 5
Four soldiers slain in a military hospital put the Sniffer and the SBI on the elusive trail of a killer with grotesque facial scars who's hunting the camp goon squad.
Episode 6
The young son of a prominent businessman is kidnapped. Clues detected by the Sniffer change over time and bring about a specific but off-kilter profile of the culprit.

Episode 1
As surgeons labor to save the Sniffer, events of his and Viktor's investigation into the beheaded bodies of a senior investor and a petty thief show what lead up to the life-threatening shooting.
Episode 2
Over one jar of red caviar, three supermarket security guards are brought down by a brooding shoplifter with a silencer. Against doctor's orders, Viktor wants the recuperating Sniffer's help.
Episode 3
An autistic child electrocutes his father, unaware he's been taught to kill. Who on the short list of suspects is guilty - the adulterous wife, the invalid sister, the blackmailing nurse or the scheming co-worker?
Episode 4
When two intelligence agents disappear together, Ukrainian Intelligence fears conversion to a third party but tries to operate without help from the General's Intelligence Service to find them.
Episode 5
Viktor's team investigates three men who were inside the expensive apartment of a poor college student/stripper the day she was murdered.
Episode 6
With the capture of the sniper, the Special Investigation Bureau (SBR) finally learns more about the "ghost" men, unaware that their trusted Sniffer has been compromised.
Episode 7
Several concurrent investigations test Viktor's friendship with the Sniffer, some of which bear these features: a missing quadriplegic, criminal malpractice, a missing finger, "ghost" men and a 1980s children's show.

Episode 1
A former prosecutor is killed during a hunting trip, but when friends and the SBI seek the murderer, they find themselves being stalked instead.

The Sniffer attends his father's funeral in Tallinn and discovers that a letter left for him has vanished and his father's best friend has been slain.
Episode 3
The murder of an opera diva has an obvious suspect but the Sniffer isn't so sure. Viktor finds a connection between the deaths of Johann and Elena.
Episode 4
A popular reality show star is dead, but the Sniffer deduces the killer. A professor and corporation founder lands on the Sniffer and Viktor's radar.
Episode 5
The Sniffer and Viktor interview Prof. Lokmus and unearth a connection between him and the victims. The Sniffer probes a string of theater murders.
Episode 6
Viktor learns more about Lokmus from a journalist who ends up dead soon afterward. The Sniffer discovers the dangerous truth about his family.
Episode 7
The Sniffer finds wiretaps in his father's house and angles for more information from Thomas. Viktor obtains the slain journalist's last letter.

Viktor is certain that Lokmus is behind the kidnapping of the Sniffer and the slaying of two SBI employees, but he's running out of time to prove it.
